Gothic Music Orgy, Vol. 4, that means a fine selection of 60 Tracks of everything, which the world of gothic music has to offer: from harsh electronic beats, awesome riffs to sounds of melancholy, the compilation is packed with the whole repertoire! From batcave to Neue Deutsche Härte, from dark electro to future pop and from gothic metal to new wave.

SHIV-R - "Cheshire Grin"
The 25th of August 2017 will see the release of SHIV-R's newest EP, "Cheshire Grin", from their 4th full-length album "Requiem for the Hyperreal". Otherwordly sound design billows against hard-hitting industrial structures underneath Pete Crane's raspy vocal hooks in the darkly maddening title song. Inspired by the laudanum-fuelled and reality-fluid Alice in Wonderland, the single also features remixes by Grammy Award Winner CHRIS VRENNA (NINE INCH NAILS / MARILYN MANSON and composer of the score of American McGeeís Alice videogame), LEAETHER STRIP and AMBASSADOR 21, and artwork created by the equally fantastical and renowned Natalie Shau.

After many years with Rock Music the group Formation Musicum Theatrum consisting of 6 people is now in preparation to present on stage an exciting self-arranged piece. The basic version was “Brosius Satanus”, the new one, now based on Gothic Electro Pop is named “Brosius Satanus TRANSFORMED”. Reason for the new piece is that the keyboarder of Musicum Theatrum suddenly died.
So this was time for a modification and the group Musicum Theatrum started on it new way from rocklike Gothic to Gothic Electro Pop. Thus the overall character of Gothical Brosius Satanus changes. The theatre scenes in live performances stay the same, however, the music gets a completely new drive by the now dominating sequencers.
The whole arrangement is enlarged by a bagpipe, scrutibox and davul. The electronical rhythms get a human touch by the drummer. The use of the guitar is discreet. The songs do not change. They are presented by Enomis, Sirod, Brosius and Ewu.
Musicum Theatrum came into existence by musicians of the Mannheim Rock Theatre. They mainly committed to rock musicals. Examples of productions are “Brückenkarl”, “Thor”, “Enomis”, “Mannemer Dreck” and of course the first version of “Brosius Satanus”. Music, script and choreography were always self-made.
In Musicum Theatrum the musicians and actors are unified in one person, each musician plays one role in the piece. The audience is led into a mystic and exciting world of intoxicating Electro Gothic rhythms with songs for several voices. All this is presented with many masks and costumes.

Thank you very much to all the bands for sending their songs. This time we've got more than 450 entries, it's simply amazing! Because of the high amount of good songs, we've decided to make an exception and to take 60 bands instead of 50 on board this time.
Of course, we will do more gothic music orgy compilations, so if we didn't chose your band for this compilation, please try again for the next one.
